After completing her Masters in Dietetics at the University of Auckland, Shayal has worked as a clinical dietitian at Auckland Hospital for 3 years. She has covered a range of areas including renal, surgical (gastro, hepato-pancreatico-bilary), mental health, eating disorders and is now working across oncology, and stroke and rehabilitation.
